Airways Aviation Center is one of the few airports that offer’s a seaplane base. At just over 3,500 feet long, this seaplane base is perfect for you avid float flyers.
We also offer tie down slips, fuel service, float removal, repair, storage and installation. We’ll even shuttle your aircraft to and from the hangars using our floatplane dolly.
TO ENHANCE THE SAFETY OF OPERATIONS, WE RECOMMEND:
1. TRAFFIC PATTERNS SHOULD BE AT 1000 FT AGL, STANDARD LEFT TRAFFIC, AND SHOULD MONITOR AND PROVIDE POSITION REPORTS ON 122.80.
2. NO NIGHT OPERATIONS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED UNLESS THE TAKEOFF/LANDING AREA IS LIGHTED
AND A BEACON IS INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
AC 150/5395-1 PARAGRAPH 52.
3. IN THE REMARKS SECTION OF THE AIRPORT/FACILITY DIRECTORY (CHART SUPPLEMENT), NOTE THAT THERE ARE TREES AND A TOWER TO THE NE OF THE WATERWAYS, AND RISING TERRAIN ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SHORES.
